What I Learnt In ELA Class

What have I learned from this ELA unit that I can use to make me a better person is, My writing skills. My writing skills have improved so much because we have been learning lots on how to write. In the future when if I get a job that involves writing a lot I will be able to write legendary story's that I can share with other people.

Discovery Education (Review)

Discovery Education (Review) Games- There are only 2 games on that site. They are math fraction games. They are more for Grade 1-2's. The games are called: Fishy Fractions: Fraction and Picture Match, Leon's Math Dojo: Counting to 12.
 Video- (Name) TEAMS: Number in my World: Representing Fractions This video is helpful if you need some help with your math skills. There is a lot of other videos just like this one that are related to it that can help you with your skills.

2 Tools

Two things our teacher showed us to learn. 1. The snipping tool. 2.Some search button on Wikipedia. How to use Them... well one of the ways. 1. Go to your start button. click on it. Type in snipping tool. Click on the tool. When your on any site or just your desktop you can cut parts and it copy's the stuff you cut. You can use that copy for what ever you want. Like so
2. If you search something on Wikipedia and it comes up with a long list of sentences. Press control F. It shall come up with a little search button and you can type in some words and it shall highlight every word on the page that you typed in.

More Cheese The Merrier

This is about Cheese. Yes you heard me correctly. Cheese is nutritious food made mostly from the milk of cows but also other mammals, including sheep, goats, buffalo, reindeer, camels and yaks. Around 4000 years ago people have started to breed animals and process their milk. That's when the cheese was born. Bet ya didn't know that.
This is a list of all the differnt kinds of cheese. (There may be more still)
My favorite kind of cheese is chedder. Becasue it is the only on that I like. (Here is the link to the website if you want to learn about all of them.)

We have started rehersing our Cristmas play. Its called "Couch Potato Santa", Its about a very lazy santa that is laying on a couch watching Toy Story during the whole play. Its a comedy and everyone trys to convince Santa to deliver presents. Santa doesnt want to becasue he saw the movie Toy Story and thinks the toys can get them selves around the world. But Santa soon learns that toys are just plastic and can't get them selves around.

What's Wrong

Watch this video about this kid that is getting bullied at school. He tells us how it is and shows true emotion. (Click here)
He has cut himself lots because of how much hes getting bullied. He has had thoughts of taking his own life just to escape the world he is in. Think about your kids and the school they go to. When they come home from school and they tell you that it was a horrible day, don't ignore your kid, listen to him and try and fix the problems. If your kid is getting bullied then you the parent have to take action and contact the principal and get the bullies to leave your own kid alone.
Students spend about 6 hours a day 5 days a week together in school that gives the bullies lots of time to beat up your own kid. Students have to stick together, their friends till the gradulate then they can make their own choices and take which path they want. When they're a kid that's what really counts, if they're pushed around all their youth then what will they turn out to be when they're 20, if they make it to it.

My Favorite Sport

My favorite sport is football best game ever to play. We are doing it in gym class at our school right now. It snowed the other day but snow doesn't stop us. Very fun sport. I reccomend it to you if you like rough games, not like those little prancy pony games.
